Orbis is a self-service mapping tool that lets authorized users request cartographic and geostatistical map products and receive the finished maps in the app and by email.
Your email address and request details are used solely to operate the service: validating that you are an authorized user, building the maps you request, delivering them to you, and maintaining a security audit trail. Data is never sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or used for advertising.
All traffic between the app and the service is encrypted in transit (TLS). Request records and finished map products are stored on access-controlled infrastructure operated by the service administrator. Submitting requests is restricted to an administrator-managed allowlist of email addresses.
Request records and finished maps are retained to provide your request history. You may request deletion of your data — including your email address, request history, and rendered products — at any time by contacting the address below. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.
Orbis is a professional tool intended for adult users (18+). It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
